Any Star Link users?

Can you explain what the advantages are to the different starter kits?

It seems some have movement capabilities, and others are stationary.

Is the movement for environments, where you would be moving car/rv?

A friend that is stuck in the Western NC devestation after Helene is looking to get a unit; to install at his house for Internet access. Water/Infrastructure/Internet will probably be weeks/months away. But he may have power by end of week, thank goodness.

Any feedback you can give for me to share would be appreciated.
There seems to be a $299 and $499 unit, and $599 for mini.

he should just relocate while these issues persist.
if they have cellular coverage in that area, he can get an internet provider that way. that's what i use now, the straight talk aka verizon 5g. speeds are decent and it's cheap

I think he has bigger problems than needing starlink.
